You may qualify for the Alberta Works Part-Time Studies Grant which covers all your expenses.
In order to qualify you must be:
18 years of age or older
a Canadian Citizen or a Permanent Resident

Review the APPLICATION carefully to make sure you have all the information required. IMPORTANT: You will need to provide the net income reported on line 23600 for both yourself and your spouse /partner. We can print the application for you to fill out at the Learning Centre.
Make an appointment at the Learning Centre to review your application. In addition to the hard copy application, there will be an online application process. We can walk you through all of the steps.
To apply, you will need the following information:
- A My Alberta Digital ID (MADI): The first step is verification against government records. You will need your Alberta issued driver’s licence or identification card**, Click here for MADI link.
- An Alberta Student Number (ASN): Click here to look up or create an ASN.
- Social Insurance Number (SIN)
If you have Permanent Resident status, please bring your Permanent Resident card.

- GED Exam fees
